Formed MMS with friends in 1973. Dato’ Dahlan is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and has been involved in the Marine and Insurance Industries since 1960. He founded and has overall responsibility for the MMS Group of Companies operations. His working experience includes 11 years with Malaysian International Shipping Corporation (MISC) prior to which he worked with The United Kingdom Protection & Indemnity Club, London based shipping companies and a Lloyd’s insurance broker. He contributes technical assistance to the company in all areas of his speciality.

Samiza T. Webster, M.Sc. (Hons),
BA (Hons), Director

Samiza obtained a degree in Politics with Economics from London University and her Masters in Finance & IT at Westminster University, London. She joined the Company in 1996 and joined the Board in 1999. She was also in London for two years during which she was attached to a Lloyd's broker and the Shipowners Protection & Indemnity Association.

Datin Etty Zainab Ibrahim, MA (Hons), AICSA

Joined the Board of MMS in 1983. Datin Etty is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and has wide experience in business and administration having worked with Price Waterhouse, Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Berhad, Malaysia Mining Corporation Berhad, Kumpulan Perangsang, the investment arm of the Selangor State Government and Amalgamated Industrial Steel Berhad.
